3rd International CISOs Knowledge Sharing

Between October 21st and 27th, Oplium held the 3rd International CISOs Knowledge Sharing event, which brought together cybersecurity executives from Latin America and Europe in Madrid, Milan, Modena, and Rome. The meeting focused on knowledge sharing, building partnerships, and exchanging experiences on the major challenges and trends in digital security on a global scale.

The event was created with the purpose of strengthening dialogue between leaders from different markets and promoting international cooperation at a time when digital threats are becoming increasingly complex. During the program, CISOs and invited executives discussed topics such as the role of people in protecting critical sectors, the defense of strategic operations, and the impact of state-sponsored attacks in a scenario of global instability.

The meetings were attended by Claudio Merulla, CEO of Oplium Italy, Adonias Filho, CCO of Oplium, Giuliano Rulli, COO of Oplium Italy, Ettore Cardamellis, Sales Director of Oplium Italy, Fernanda Loureiro, Account Manager of Oplium Brazil, and David Marqués, COO of Oplium Spain. Together, they led discussions and encouraged the sharing of best practices and perspectives among the professionals present, reinforcing Oplium's role as a connector of different cybersecurity communities.

The 2025 edition also benefited from the support of strategic partners such as Netskope, Orca Security, and Akamai, who contributed to enriching the technical content and strengthening the discussion about the future of global cybersecurity.

Beyond the debates, the experience was marked by cultural moments that helped to bring the participants even closer together. From Atlético de Madrid's stadium to Milan's Duomo, from the vineyards of Tuscany to the Galleria Borghese, each city offered a new setting for exchanges and connections between professionals who share the same goal: to protect, innovate, and collaborate on a global scale.

The 3rd International CISOs Knowledge Sharing reinforced the importance of unity between different markets and cultures in addressing the challenges of modern cybersecurity. More than just an event, it was a space for collective construction that continues to inspire new initiatives and partnerships for a safer and more collaborative digital future.
