The future of security lies in identity management.

On May 21st, OPLIUM participated in CyberArk Impact, an event that brought together experts, executives, and leaders in identity management working in large Brazilian companies and, once again, highlighted the central role of identity management in modern cybersecurity.

How to ensure the security of human identities, machines, and AI agents, and protect privileged access without compromising operational agility were topics addressed at the 5th edition of the "Identity Security Summit," which this year took place at the Bissuti Contemporâneo space in Brooklin, São Paulo, and brought together more than 300 people for a day full of knowledge sharing and networking.

OPLIUM was represented at the event by a multidisciplinary team, reinforcing our vision on the importance of acting strategically and in an integrated manner when the topic is identity security.

George Chaves , Director of Innovation and New Business at OPLIUM, highlighted: " Identity management is no longer an isolated discipline. It is the heart of corporate security and, increasingly, of the very business model of organizations. Investing in it is building resilience, agility, and trust ."

"Investing in identity management is about building resilience, agility, and trust," says George Chaves of OPLIUM.

During the event, CyberArk demonstrated how it has evolved into a complete identity security platform, capable of protecting everything from human users to AI agents, including machines, containers, and pipelines.

Luiz Henrique Gomes Costa , CyberArk Specialist at OPLIUM, presented insights on the evolution of the platform, which today goes far beyond the protection of privileged credentials. He emphasized: " CyberArk's adaptive and risk-based approach allows for robust, yet flexible security for complex and distributed environments. "

Another crucial point discussed was identity governance, which is fundamental to ensuring not only security, but also regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

Patrick Paixão , Identity Management Specialist at OPLIUM, emphasized: " Without structured governance, identity management becomes just another technological layer," he stated, highlighting OPLIUM's role as a strategic partner in the journey towards maturity in identity management.

For OPLIUM, CyberArk Impact was also an opportunity to further strengthen ties with one of our key technology partners.

Adonias Filho , Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of OPLIUM, highlighted: " We are proud to maintain a solid and strategic partnership with CyberArk. Participating in this event is a way to strengthen this relationship and, above all, to ensure that we are always at the forefront of best practices and solutions for our clients. "

"We want to ensure that we are always at the forefront of best practices and solutions for our clients," Adonias Filho, from OPLIUM.

In the afternoon, the event featured technical sessions hosted by CyberArk and concluded with a Happy Hour for all professionals, clients, and partners.
