Executive Breakfast in Madrid, in partnership with Picus, brought together executives to discuss advanced cybersecurity strategies and investment optimization 

On April 15, Oplium Spain held its first event with a strategic partner in the country, consolidating another step in building its presence and relationship with the local market. The meeting took place in Madrid and brought together cybersecurity executives in an exclusive Executive Breakfast format, focused on knowledge sharing and discussing real challenges faced by organizations. 

The event was held in partnership with Picus Security, a company globally recognized for its work in continuous security validation and attack simulation technologies. Picus stands out by enabling organizations to test, in a practical and continuous way, the effectiveness of their security controls, identifying gaps and optimizing investments already made in their protection architectures. 

The session was led by Sandra Bardón, a cybersecurity and technical leadership specialist, with a focus on defense strategies and risk management, who brought a practical and results-oriented approach to how to integrate adversary management into the corporate strategy. During the presentation, topics such as the importance of continuous simulation to maximize the return on investment (ROI) of the existing security stack and the need for a more dynamic, evidence-based view for decision-making were discussed. 

Real cases presented throughout the meeting showed how companies have been able to reduce their exposure to cyber risks without the need to increase investments, reinforcing the relevance of strategies that prioritize efficiency, visibility, and continuous validation.
