Official launch in Bogotá marks a new chapter in the group's international growth strategy, focusing on one of Latin America's most strategic markets 

On March 11, the Oplium took another significant step in its international expansion strategy with the official launch of its operation in Colombia. The milestone was celebrated at an exclusive event held in Bogotá, bringing together cybersecurity and technology executives in an environment focused on exchanging experiences and strengthening relationships in the local market. 

The event took place at the Four Seasons Hotel Bogotá and was attended by group leaders, including Claudio Merulla, CEO Oplium Italia and Riccardo Modica, Director of Safe-e, reinforcing the strategic alignment and the commitment of Oplium to the development of its operations in Latin America. 

The new unit will be led by Carlos Alberto Arias Prada, who takes on the local operation with the challenge of consolidating the presence of Oplium in the country. With more than 30 years of experience in the technology and cybersecurity sector, the executive brings a strategic vision focused on sustainable growth, building strong partnerships, and delivering solutions aligned with the specific demands of the Colombian market.
